Canara → Tally
Upload the PDF from Canara Bank and get Tally-ready XML back — every line mapped to a ledger, as balanced Payment and Receipt vouchers you import straight into Tally Prime. No retyping, no templates to set up.
The Canara format
Canara Bank e-statements print these columns, dates like “01-FEB-21”:
Trans Date · Value Date · Branch · Ref/Chq.No · Description · Withdraws · Deposit · Balance
Canara Bank prints both a Transaction Date and a Value Date column; bank2tally posts vouchers on the Transaction Date, matching when the entry actually happened in your account.
How to convert
Works on text-based Canara PDFs (the kind net banking downloads). Scanned or photographed statements aren't supported yet. Password-protected PDFs work — you set the password when you convert.
