Axis → Tally
Upload the PDF from Axis Bank and get Tally-ready XML back — every line mapped to a ledger, as balanced Payment and Receipt vouchers you import straight into Tally Prime. No retyping, no templates to set up.
The Axis format
Axis Bank e-statements print these columns, dates in dd-mm-yyyy:
Tran Date · Chq No · Particulars · Debit · Credit · Balance · Init. Br
Axis statements carry a trailing branch-code column after the balance; bank2tally keeps those digits out of the balance so your closing figures stay exact.
How to convert
Works on text-based Axis PDFs (the kind net banking downloads). Scanned or photographed statements aren't supported yet. Password-protected PDFs work — you set the password when you convert.

Questions
Download your Axis Bank statement as a PDF, upload it on bank2tally and choose Axis Bank, then download the Tally XML. In Tally Prime go to Gateway of Tally → Import → Vouchers and pick the file — the Payment and Receipt vouchers are created and balanced for you.
No. Tally imports XML, not PDF. bank2tally converts the Axis Bank PDF into Tally XML so you never retype the statement.
No. The statement is converted in memory and discarded the moment your download starts — no copies, no backups.
